Why France?

We chose France as one of the most favorable destinations for relocation, and several crucial factors contributed to our decision. It’s not just about the country’s rich culture and history—it also offers robust support for expatriates and startups, a stable economy, an international environment, a high standard of living, and a welcoming atmosphere for families with children.

Below are 10 compelling reasons why France might be your top choice, too. Spoiler alert: you may want to start planning your move right away 😉

1

Competitive Tax Framework

France has introduced various tax incentives for expatriates and startups, making it easier than ever to establish a new life and business venture. From research credits to tax rebates, the French system continually evolves to attract global talent.
2

Strong Economy & Global Reach

Ranked among the world’s largest economies, France boasts a diverse industrial base that supports innovation and entrepreneurship. This economic stability ensures ample job opportunities and space for professional growth.
3

Exceptional Healthcare System

France’s healthcare system consistently ranks among the best. Access to top-notch medical care, modern facilities, and subsidized healthcare costs give residents peace of mind and security.
4

High-Quality Education

From world-renowned universities to bilingual international schools, France’s education system caters to global citizens. This ensures your children (and you, if you pursue higher education) benefit from an academically rigorous environment.
5

Emphasis on Work-Life Balance

Savoir-vivre goes beyond cuisine and fashion. The French appreciate leisure time and family life, fostering an overall healthier and more balanced lifestyle—perfect for those seeking a respite from high-pressure environments.
1

An International Community

Major cities like Paris, Lyon, and Marseille are home to vibrant international communities. Meet people from all over the globe, network with fellow expats, and find social clubs or associations that match your interests.
2

Cultural & Culinary Riches

Living in France means immersing yourself in a cultural haven. You’ll enjoy world-class museums, iconic architecture, vibrant festivals, and unmatched culinary adventures—from Michelin-starred restaurants to charming street markets.
3

Attractive Residency & Visa Options

France offers a range of visas and residency permits tailored to different needs—entrepreneurs, students, talent visas, and family reunification. This flexibility smooths your transition and sets you up for success in your new home.
4

Central Location in Europe

With excellent transport links, including high-speed rail and international airports, France positions you perfectly for European exploration. Weekend trips to Spain, Italy, or beyond are as simple as hopping on a train or short flight.
5

Future-Focused & Innovative

France is at the forefront of science, tech, and green energy, continuously investing in startups and research initiatives. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or an entrepreneur, you’ll find a supportive ecosystem here.

I thought that a startup visa was only for IT guys with brilliant technologies. The team from Relocating Expert explained in great detail during the consultation that almost any idea can be developed and packaged into a startup. They helped me find an accelerator and formalise my startup. The whole process took about 3 months. And voila, I am already a start-up entrepreneur and cycling round The Hague!

I have long had a dream of moving to Europe, but no golden parachute and no rich inheritance. I started looking for a job through LinkedIn. I am not an IT guy, but a marketer with 5+ years of experience.
I seemed to be responding to the right jobs and writing cover letters, but things weren't going my way.
Relocating Expert was recommended to me by an acquaintance who travels to Amsterdam often and knows the guys personally.
I am glad I asked for help. Within 2 months we found me a job in Amsterdam in Ballast Nedam, the leading construction company in the Netherlands, as a Senior Project Engeneer, we organised all the documents for moving, and also helped me to find a flat, which is still a quest in Amsterdam.
In general, nothing is impossible, Relocating Expert will help you 🙂

We moved as a family on a business visa.
The guys from Relocating Expert helped with all the paperwork and explained in detail all the stages of the move.
We were able to move our business, we are now settling in and plan to move our team in the near future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need consultation?

Every relocation case is different. At the end of the consultation, you will have a working scenario for moving to the France, which has been developed on the basis of your individual needs and possibilities and within the framework of law.

Then you can move on your own or with our help. But everything is more than realistic!

Is the startup visa just for IT people?

No, it’s much more down-to-earth and cheaper.

This is the most budget-friendly option to start a business in the countries. The amount of authorised capital can be as little as 100 euros. What you need is a fresh idea (not necessarily from the world of technology) and packaging it into a business project. If you have an idea, but you find it difficult to present it, we can help you!

Where is the Relocating Expert office located and why are you doing this?

Our office is located in the centre of the administrative capital of the Netherlands, next door to the royal family – in The Hague.

The address is Wilhelmina van Pruisenweg 35

We started our journey by helping friends and acquaintances with startup visa relocations. Then more people came to us through referrals and it became obvious that we were growing from a side project into a company that helps and supports relocants at a very important time in their lives.

As we have moved ourselves, we are well aware of all the difficulties and pitfalls. We are for open dialogue and are always happy to help!

I have a business, I want to start one in Europe. Is that possible?

Yes, we can open a branch office for your company in Europe or an independent legal entity. We can also relocate your employees and organise your move on a business visa.
