Why Spain?

We chose Spain as one of our top relocation destinations, and several crucial factors contributed to our decision: favorable tax options for expatriates and startups, a stable and diversified economy, an English-friendly environment where you’ll be understood, a high standard of living, and a welcoming culture for families and those moving with children.

Below are 10 objective reasons in favor of Spain.
Spoiler alert: you’ll want to start packing once you’ve read them! 😉

1

Attractive Tax Regime

Spain has designed various tax benefits and deductions for expats and startups. The well-known “Beckham Law,” for instance, can help reduce your overall tax burden for a specified period.
2

Stable, Diverse Economy

From thriving tourism and services sectors to emerging tech startups, Spain’s economy offers plenty of opportunities for investors and job seekers alike.
3

Mild Climate All Year Round

With its Mediterranean influence, Spain offers pleasant temperatures and sunny days for most of the year—boosting your overall quality of life.
4

High-Quality Healthcare

Spain’s public healthcare system is consistently ranked among the best in Europe, giving residents access to cutting-edge medical facilities and highly trained professionals.
5

A Welcoming Expat Community

Cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia are home to vibrant international communities, creating an environment where newcomers can easily connect and forge lasting friendships.
1

English-Friendly Environment

While Spanish remains the primary language, major business centers and tourist hotspots frequently offer services in English—ideal if you’re still polishing your Spanish skills.
2

Family-Friendly Culture

Spain has a strong tradition of family gatherings and child-centric social life. From well-equipped playgrounds to community events and festivals, children are warmly welcomed everywhere.
3

Rich Cultural Heritage and Lifestyle

Enjoy breathtaking architecture, world-renowned museums, and centuries-old traditions in daily life. Spain’s vibrant culture will keep you entertained year-round.
4

Affordable Cost of Living

Compared to many Western European countries, Spain offers more competitive housing prices and lower day-to-day costs, especially outside of the major city centers.
5

Fantastic Work-Life Balance

Spain’s laid-back lifestyle and emphasis on socializing, good food, and leisure time make it easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance—a huge plus for long-term happiness.

I thought that a startup visa was only for IT guys with brilliant technologies. The team from Relocating Expert explained in great detail during the consultation that almost any idea can be developed and packaged into a startup. They helped me find an accelerator and formalise my startup. The whole process took about 3 months. And voila, I am already a start-up entrepreneur and cycling round The Hague!

I have long had a dream of moving to Europe, but no golden parachute and no rich inheritance. I started looking for a job through LinkedIn. I am not an IT guy, but a marketer with 5+ years of experience.
I seemed to be responding to the right jobs and writing cover letters, but things weren't going my way.
Relocating Expert was recommended to me by an acquaintance who travels to Amsterdam often and knows the guys personally.
I am glad I asked for help. Within 2 months we found me a job in Amsterdam in Ballast Nedam, the leading construction company in the Netherlands, as a Senior Project Engeneer, we organised all the documents for moving, and also helped me to find a flat, which is still a quest in Amsterdam.
In general, nothing is impossible, Relocating Expert will help you 🙂

We moved as a family on a business visa.
The guys from Relocating Expert helped with all the paperwork and explained in detail all the stages of the move.
We were able to move our business, we are now settling in and plan to move our team in the near future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need consultation?

Every relocation case is different. At the end of the consultation, you will have a working scenario for moving to the countries, which has been developed on the basis of your individual needs and possibilities and within the framework of law.

Then you can move on your own or with our help. But everything is more than realistic!

Is the startup visa just for IT people?

No, it’s much more down-to-earth and cheaper.

This is the most budget-friendly option to start a business in the countries. The amount of authorised capital can be as little as 100 euros. What you need is a fresh idea (not necessarily from the world of technology) and packaging it into a business project. If you have an idea, but you find it difficult to present it, we can help you!

Where is the Relocating Expert office located and why are you doing this?

Our office is located in the centre of the administrative capital of the Netherlands, next door to the royal family – in The Hague.

The address is Wilhelmina van Pruisenweg 35

We started our journey by helping friends and acquaintances with startup visa relocations. Then more people came to us through referrals and it became obvious that we were growing from a side project into a company that helps and supports relocants at a very important time in their lives.

As we have moved ourselves, we are well aware of all the difficulties and pitfalls. We are for open dialogue and are always happy to help!

I have a business, I want to start one in Europe. Is that possible?

Yes, we can open a branch office for your company in Europe or an independent legal entity. We can also relocate your employees and organise your move on a business visa.
